Speed and accuracy improvements across Sales, Transfer Out and Stock Receipts, built for fast trading. Fewer steps per sale, reliable scanning, all new settings off by default.
Increment quantity on repeat scan
Scanning the same item again builds one cart line with the total quantity, instead of a new line each time. Expand the line to see each unit separately.
Transfer Out and Stock Receipts scanning
Consecutive scans now register without a wait, so bulk scanning keeps pace. Any scan not recorded is flagged on screen.
Finalise without printing a receipt
Staff can close a sale without forcing a print, with the docket number confirmed on screen. Less paper, less time at the counter.
Skip the EFTPOS amount screen
A full amount tender goes straight to the integrated terminal. Cash and other tenders still prompt as before.

Important Customer Updates
Apparel²¹ Connect: Shopify integration update
Apparel²¹ Connect is updating its Shopify integration as Shopify transitions from its legacy REST Admin API to GraphQL.
The upgrade will support faster, more efficient synchronisation, improved error handling and greater capacity during larger or busier syncs. Existing integrations and settings will carry across automatically.
BarTender 2021 support ending
Full support for BarTender 2021 and earlier versions, including licensing and activation assistance, will end on 31 December 2027.
Customers using these versions are encouraged to plan their upgrade ahead of the support end date.
Updated EAN/UPC barcode requirements
GS1 Australia has updated its requirements for EAN/UPC barcode height on products scanned at retail point of sale.
The updated standard provides greater flexibility where packaging space is limited, while different requirements may apply to products also scanned in warehouse, logistics or distribution environments.
